2021-07-09 02:34:32 Bill Yikes description Following these steps to add bookmarks using the set-outline instruction: https://ebooks.stackexchange.com/questions/7866/how-insert-the-outline-the-bookmarks-into-djvu there is no error. And if I follow that with: $ djvused foo.djvu -e 'print-outline' it faithfully reproduces the outline I gave it. But when that djvu file is opened in the following viewers: * evince v.3.38.2 * okular (with okular-extra-backends) * qpdfview (with qpdfview-djvu-plugin) in all 3 cases the bookmarks pane shows nothing. So either djvused is broken or all three viewers are broken. I believe okular and evince have different backends, so djvused is the likely culprit. djvulibre-bin version is 3.5.28. I did not see have this problem with djvulibre-bin 3.5.27.1 & evince 3.22.1.
