I remembered how to get screen+graphics working again (I have to go into screen/graphics and choose anything before restarting computer otherwise it crashes ubuntu)

Your sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg-video-intel
does absolutely nothing, nothing pops up, it stays in terminal with a new line.
