Bug Description

Binary package hint: digikam

I use Ubuntu but I have installed digiKam form the KDE software suite.
After upgrading to natty (11.04), a lot of icons in the digikam menu have disappeared, substituted by the "circle crossed" icons.
Will attach a screenshot.

Moreover, global menu does not work with the editing windows. I have the global menu working for the album/main window, and not for the editing one.

I'm using Kubuntu 11.10 on an Acer Aspire D257. I have the same problem as Romano.

1 Open digikam
2 Select a photo
3 Open image editor
4 Edit and save
5 Close image editor
6 Select another photo
7 Open image editor

At this point the edit menu items have gone. However if I switch to the main window instead of (5) closing the image editor window, after (6) and (7) the menu items are still there.
