Cannot recognize and .download pictures on Panasonic DMC-FZ15

I can't seem to get digikam to download my pictures from my camera Panasonic (DMC-FZ15). It seems to recognize the camera but doesn't gets the pictures from it. I get an error of (An error occurred in the io-library ('Unspecified error'): No error description available) HELP I also got the old standby error of "Failed to connect to the camera. Please make sure it is connected properly and turned on. Would you like to try again? "

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10?
