Either deploy via intrepid-backports or the KDE 4 PPA. In any case this is earliest possible with 4.2.0. Eventually Devid wants to include it in the archive we store KDE 4.2 alpha/beta/rc in (not yet defined which one it will be though).
We now removed digikam-kde4 from Intrepid considering the age and quality of beta1. |

Beta 8 is available in both Jaunty and Intrepid. (Here https://launchpad.net/~digikam-experimental/+archive for Intrepid, normally for Jaunty) thanks to the efforts of Luka Renko, who merged it from Debian. |
