Bug Description
I'm using Ubuntu 15.10 dev with diffutils 1:3.3-1 and maybe diff can color added/removed lines green/red for example like git-gui does. Maybe this could also get enhanced to do this for the differences in the lines which characters are added/removed (for example with a higher opacity).
