When starting Emacs I get this error message in *Messages* buffer

Error while loading 50dictionaries-common: Symbol's value as variable is void: debian-aspell-only-dictionary-alist

This is due to a fault in dictionaries-common 1.20.5 and it is corrected in 1.22.6
(see https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=741706)

New to this bug reporting system, so apologies if I am doing this all wrong. I just installed Ubuntu desktop v. 15. I used apt-get to install Emacs, and got Emacs 25.4. I am getting the error message described above, even though dictionaries-common is at v. 1.26.2. May have been corrected in 1.22.6, but it appears to have returned.
