Mic mutes but the icon shows otherwise while call is on hold

1. Dial a number
2. Hold the call
3. press the mute button
4. Unhold the call
5. try to talk so that the other party hears you

What happens:
the mute button shows as if the mic is *not* mute while its actually mute.
