prepend domain-name-servers does not allow other addresses

Bug #285897 reported by Ryan Giobbi on 2008-10-19

dhcp3 (Ubuntu)

Bug Description

The option
prepend domain-name-servers ;
in /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf
does not allow secondary and other servers to be added via DHCP.

For example,
prepend domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1;
puts 127.0.0.1 in /etc/resolv.conf but doesn't add the DNS servers offered by DHCP.

affects: dhcp (Ubuntu) → dhcp3 (Ubuntu)

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
