* Currently vendored dependencies validation support is unavailable in Jammy. You can observe that `/usr/share/cargo/bin/dh-cargo-vendored-sources` script is missing in Jammy.
[ Where problems could occur ]
* This may introduce breakages in existing packages where the vendor source tag was not correctly written and was previously built due to a lack of validation.
[ Other Info ]
* This backport is needed to help ensure the source package includes the correct vendor libraries, thus improving security. |
