2010-04-19 14:46:36 Savvas Radevic description Binary package hint: devscripts If the user did not edit and set a deb repository in sources.list, and they try to apt-get update, they get this error. chdist should create the directory apt.conf.d or inform the user again that the sources.list ought to be changed. $ rm -rf ~/.chdist/hardy $ chdist create hardy Now edit /home/forger/.chdist/hardy/etc/apt/sources.list Then run chdist apt-get hardy update $ chdist apt-get hardy update Reading package lists... Done W: Unable to read /home/forger/.chdist/hardy/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/ - FileExists (2: No such file or directory) Editing sources.list and setting a deb mirror makes it work again.
