Bug Description

Ubuntu 24.04 does not display the battery charge correctly after connecting the charger. A similar issue is described here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/devicekit-power/+bug/1686269
However, there are a number of nuances: The problem appears precisely when connecting the charging cable, the problem is floating, it may not arise at all, then it will trigger every time it is connected. It can be treated by rebooting or restarting the service, as in the option described in the old post.
The system was installed from scratch, not as an update

System: Linux Helly 6.8.0-31-generic #31-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat Apr 20 00:40:06 UTC 2024 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Device/Host: MacBookPro11,1 1.0

The previous release 23.10 does not have a similar problem

Having a very similar problem, which was already present for me in 23.10, only I did not bother to report it then :-/.

Though for me the problem is not the charge of the battery, but the discharging rate which does not seem to get rightly reported (displays a 0 discharging charging rate and does not log it). Seems to happen whenever the charger gets unplugged onward, until reboot. Charging rate is rightly displayed and logged.
