Bug Description
Binary package hint: devede
1) Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
2) devede package version : 3.16.8-0ubuntu1
When I'm ready to generate the video images, I click on "Next" button in the main DeVeDe window. The process starts, then I am greeted with a pop-up that tells me the above error message (see summary), and the video generation process aborts.
The error message seems to be wrong, as I'm not missing any disk space, and there are no permission problem whatsoever.
When doing apt-get source devede and running the debug-devede script, the resulting devede.debug log contents is:
/usr/lib/
tree.
mplayer: could not connect to socket
mplayer: No such file or directory
Failed to open LIRC support. You will not be able to use your remote control.

My excuses, it seems the devede.debug excerpt posted above was incomplete. I have attached the full devede.debug file. The last step before the error message is printed is the creation of the dvd structure by calling DVDAuthor.
