Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial) reached end-of-life on April 29, 2021.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested in discussing it any more. But if you are then please upgrade to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. I had an look in the Ubuntu Error Tracker for this crash report and found the same traceback (albeit with different line numbers) affecting Ubuntu 20.04.

Hi Brian,

That tracks with the fact that devede 4.15 hasn't been updated since before Focal's release. Looks as though 4.16 is due in Jammy within a couple of days as it was just uploaded to Unstable. Would you mind checking against that when the sync is done and it migrates?
