This error is raised when desktopcouch fails to start couchdb within a reasonable amount of time (10 seconds or so.) To determine why that would be the case, it would be very helpful to have the following log file:
~/.cache/ desktop- couch/desktop- couchdb. log.1
Could someone who is affected by this bug paste that?
