Bug Description

Binary package hint: desktopcouch

In Evolution when clicking on Contacts and opening any CouchDB address book (like e.g. "Ubuntu One"), Evolution says "Error loading address book." "Detailed error message: Address Book does not exist".
One second later, apport opens with "desktopcouch-service closed unexpectedly".

As a result, I cannot add any contacts to the couchdb address books.

Yes, maybe this is a duplicate. But I am not allowed to see the other bug #451767.
This is inept. My bug is not discussed, as it is marked as duplicate, but I cannot see the work done at the other bug or possible workarounds that may be discussed there.
