no support for secure gmail

Binary package hint: desktop-webmail

My Gmail account is set to always use HTTPS. The webmail can't access my account because of this. The webmail also misses a checkbox to allow secure/insecure connection to Gmail. In my view, this is also a security problem.

Sorry, but I no longer have Ubuntu installed, so I can't check if the bug
is still valid or what are the steps to reproduce it. I believe this bug
was filled ages ago. You can close the bug, if you want.
