Bug Description

This package provides lots of debian emblems under /usr/share/icons/desktop-base/scalable/emblems/

And is also defines lots of /etc/alternatives/emblem-vendor-* alternatives.

We don't configure such alternatives for ubuntu though, so we need to configure differently some packages in ubuntu.

https://codesearch.debian.net/search?q=emblem-vendor&literal=1 suggests it's used by a gnome-control-center Debian patch only. The package is in universe and not installed by default in Ubuntu. Doesn't sound like something we want to use? Could you provide a bit more details on the change you would like to be done there and the perceived value?

I see... Well since we provide this package and this package includes vendor emblems, I assume that those should be ubuntu logo's in ubuntu.

There are many provided emblems (at different sizes) in such package, so not sure if some other is used, just by the file basename (as being part of a desktop-base icons theme).

My point was to provide alternatives for ubuntu and in case consider it to use the logo in g-c-c, not a big deal but I see this as a low-priority thing to do.
