deskbar-applet shows no reaction and does not close an logout

Binary package hint: deskbar-applet

The deskbar-applet does not work anymore. It does not respond to the dedicated key (space + Crtl) or Alt + F3. It is longer shown in the upper panel and gnome is not able to shut it down during logout.
