tracker plugin not detected

the plugin is not available in deskbar preference menu.
tracker is no more integrated to deskbar

I can confirm this on my machine, using Intrepid.

Version is slightly more recent for deskbar-applet :

deskbar-applet 2.24.à-0ubuntu1
libdeskbar-tracker 0.6.6-1ubuntu4

Tracker plugin is not mentionned in the deskbar applet preferences.
I can also confirm that search in tracker is not done (some keywords in tracker gives results, while the same ones don't in deskbar-applet).

It needs porting. Commenting out the offending import and doing a return 0 in the respective routing where gnomedesktop is used lets it start again. However, I have no idea what functionality is lost.

Crazy that such a feature is in this state at beta. I thought tracker is the default ubuntu desktop search and deskbar-applet the standard way to use it? Is nobody using this?
