I find it strange that if deluge-gtk was open but not connected to deluged that it would be opening the Add Torrent dialog.

Is this repeatable? I cannot reproduce so will need more info.

Oddly enough, I can't reproduce at the moment either. I did disable some gnome-shell extensions since which might have caused this. I'll try a few more combinations and report back.

How long had you been using Deluge before this issue occurred? Were you also using Deluge on Maverick?

I've been using Deluge for a few years.

When I tried again this morning, it crashed with the same error on first load. I immediately tried to reproduce by closing everything, logging out and back in but no crash. The error seems to only occur if I haven't used the computer in a while, like a few hours.

One thing that's different now and that could be causing this error is that a few of my directories are symlinks to my SSD on a different partition.

I have been using Deluge for a long time it has always been my client of choice. I only started having the problem with 12.04 I started with Beta1 last week and am now up to date. I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I am using it to connect to my server running deluged.

I just upgraded to 1.3.5 and the problem persists. It only happens on the first magnet link. After that, it's fine.

I can confirm and reproduce the bug every time following these steps:

1) Download a torrent file
2) Double click in the torrent file to open the default program to handle, Deluge here
3) When Connection Manager opens, click in Connect button to connect to the current host
4) Click in the plus signal to add a new download

When this finishes, I can find the desired torrent in the Add Torrents windows, ready to be added, but the crash appears also.
