Bug Description
When backups start, and Place Windows in compiz is set to "Maximise", clicking controls on the backup window doesn't work. However, if you click about 1cm above them (e.g. the details arrow, or buttons, or option buttons if running first time) then they work. It gives the appearance that the window is not responding until you notice accidentally click one control and the one below flinches.
Restoring to normal then maximising the window solves the problem. Also, after running ubuntu-bug and returning to the window the problem goes away. However, this has happened reliably many times and I have not had this particular problem in any other application.

I’m going to assume this is fixed on recent releases? At the least, compiz isn’t used by default anymore.
