Bug Description
During a full restore, the progress dialog disappeared while I was away from my computer.
When I returned, I found a system crash dialog reporting that something had gone wrong with deja-dup, yet there was no message from deja dup either about success nor failure of the restoration. Yet the main deja-dup window (ie but not the one concerning progress of the restore) was still up.
If the restore is successful, deja-dup should give notification to say so, and should wait for confirmation.
If the restore fails, deja-dup should give notification to say so, and should wait for confirmation.
If the software is still flakey, there should be more text logging somewhere, especially during hours-long operations like a restore or backup.
I'm running on the latest 13.10, restoring from an external USB drive to a subdirectory (ie not the original location, rather a copy of all of /home) in an encrypted home folder.
