debootstrap 1.0.59 source package in Ubuntu
Changelog
debootstrap (1.0.59) unstable; urgency=medium * Install ca-certificates as well as apt-transport-https for HTTPS installations. This makes it possible to copy certificates that were built into the installer to /usr/local/share/ca-certificates/ and thus have them continue to be trusted after installation. -- Colin Watson <email address hidden> Thu, 13 Feb 2014 13:42:54 +0000

- debootstrap: Bootstrap a basic Debian system
debootstrap is used to create a Debian base system from scratch,
without requiring the availability of dpkg or apt. It does this by
downloading .deb files from a mirror site, and carefully unpacking them
into a directory which can eventually be chrooted into.
