Bug Description

Fetching Preseed Config from http or ftp fails, because the files /lib/preseed/fetch-methods/http and /lib/preseed/fetch-methods/ftp are empty.

I used the current netboot image from
http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/feisty/main/installer-i386/current/images/netboot/

In the included initrd.gz archive the ftp and the http file are linked together, which causes that both files are empty when the installer is started.
If you unpack the initrd manually, both files contain the same content (and they are linked; see cpio error msg).
