Bug Description

Herd 2 install in a multiple boot/partition environment using alternate cd install. Would like to install herd 2 on a separate partition, but missing initial option for manual partition. The first option shows up as '0' and when chosen goes into what seems like the manual install routine. However, unable to get to option for setting root partition, so circular failure ensure regardless of options chosen.

Also during install cd fails to configure dhcp on Ethernet port (not sure if related..)

Please extract /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman from the running installer and attach them to this bug. You can extract them by going back to the main menu and selecting the "Save debug logs" item.

This looks like bug 89004, which is fixed in the Feisty beta release.
