Bug Description

Binary package hint: debian-installer

Karmic ubuntu-9.10-alternate-i386.iso

I was trying to install the alternate ISO on my Asus eeepc 900 (I needed full disk encryption), but ran into some problems.

I managed to overcome an other bug (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/347458/ (see comment 9 for a workaround)) but then ran in to this one:

I attached the syslog. Probably you need more info, but I don't know what else you need.

Something similar happens with Ubuntu lucid lynx 10.04 Alpha 1. See attached syslog.

I forgot to mention, I used Unetbootin to create a SD card installer (USB interface) for my eeepc.
