Binary package hint: debian-installer
Karmic studio daily build disk does not install.
It gets you to the menu, asks what language, goes back to the menu, and the only choice that works is "boot from first hard disk."
The other options give you a black screen with a non-moving "cursor" in the lower left-hand corner, and absolutely no disk activity.
After a minute, all I can do is turn it off.
I have an ASUS G1S, happily using Intrepid with minimal problems.
