Bug Description

Binary package hint: debian-installer

Step to reproduce:
1. Download a GTK mini CD from http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/main/installer-amd64/current/images/netboot/gtk/mini.iso
2. Boot a machine using this CD
3. Start the installation

Result expected:
A GUI which shows Ubuntu

Result actually happened:
A GUI with Debian branding

Yep, it's actually quite a surprise that it worked in Jaunty at all - it was broken (though we continued to build it just in case) for most of the release and so I didn't bother to sort out branding for it. I only realised after release that it had actually started working near the end due to a fix in GTK!

I've fixed this at least to a basic extent in Karmic, and expect to get some more competent artistic attention on it at some point.

rootskel-gtk (1.15ubuntu1) karmic; urgency=low

  * Add a very basic Ubuntu logo and install it. (Obviously this needs
    attention from a proper artist; this is just a stopgap.)
