It works for some translations, e.g. Catalan. I wonder what went wrong ...

Apparently it wasn't sufficiently translated for French in the last translation I pulled (on 20 October), so the build system discarded the help file for that language. If you're a French translator, could you update the translation in Launchpad?

Ok Colin, i'v forwarded to french translation list.

The only template in Launchpad has been fully translated in French a long time ago.
Colin are you sure that helps files are in gfxboot-theme-ubuntu package? I've checked the source package and French translation is complete.

Colin Watson (cjwatson) wrote :

It's the "help" template in debian-installer, not in gfxboot-theme-ubuntu at all.

(I note that I didn't file this bug on gfxboot-theme-ubuntu, so I'm not sure why you're asking me whether I'm sure; I just forgot to reassign it.)

Changed in debian-installer:
assignee: nobody → ubuntu-l10n-fr

Ok, thanks Colin.
For the "help" template there's was only 15 untranslated string in Launchpad. French translation is now complete.
