Bug Description
Specifying a kernel version in preseed results in linux-image-extra not getting installed to the target system. (Tested on Ubuntu 14.04)
1. Add a line like the following to your preseed:
d-i base-installer/
Results in the matching linux-image-extra not getting installed. (thus usb keyboards don't work)
2. Don't use base-installer/
Expected behavior is being able to specify a custom kernel version in your preseed and having it install just like the default kernel.
affects: | ubuntu → debian-installer (Ubuntu) |
