Bug Description

After then 20101020ubuntu136.14 update ( https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/debian-installer/20101020ubuntu136.14 ) hit precise-updates, I've been unable to install via the network.

I'm getting an error:
'No kernel modules were found. This is probably due to a mismatch between the kernel used by this version of the installer and the kernel version available in the archive.'

Syslog reports 'WARNING **: no packages matching running kernel 3.2.0-58-generic in archive'

Looking at /dists/precise-updates/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz, I don't actually see any kernel packages with 3.2.0-58

The highest version kernel I see is 'linux-image-3.2.0-57-generic'.

This seems like a problem, and I don't see how the installer is supposed to work given that the kernel files are missing.

I forgot to note, reverting to installer 20101020ubuntu136.13 makes my installations work successfully again.

This seems to be resolved now, the kernel packages migrated to precise-updates, and the installer is fine again.
