You appear to be installing from quite an old CD image, such as the Dapper beta or beta 2 release. This issue (also bug 41921) has been fixed since then, and I recommend you use the final Dapper release.

In fact, since the crash says "Ubiquity", I deduce that you're using Dapper beta 2.
