debconf doesn't display which key to press

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

this terminal was opened during a apt-get command to select a configuration (here for postfix) - and blocks. the question at the end is <Ok>, but there is no key (enter, tab, ^c, ^S,... etc. ) which makes this go forward or disappear. blocks the apt-get process (;-)

i hope this is easy to fix (or better yet - use a more modern terminal/window)

i later found that there is a way - using the tab to have the OK "button" highlighted and then hit return.

this was -once upon a time- a known method (about 20 years ago) -- could you update the editing window of the configuration editor? (or at least add a descriptive to tell users how to move around).

thank you for making ubuntu even better!

The bug description is not clear, what do you want to get changed exactly?

the terminal opens and has instruction what to do, but no instructions what keys are to press to get them done.
i would add a hint:
"tab moves the cursor, return select the option highlighted"

this would be sufficient for most people, i hope.

(better would be to replace this "stone-age" terminal emulator with a regular window)

reassigning to debconf, not sure if displaying on the screen that tab is used to switch button is require. You might want to use synaptic which calls the graphical GTK interfaces for such questions
