Bug Description
Binary package hint: ddd
Ubntu Gutsy x86_64 can't copy text out of ddd. For example at a break point type "bt" in the gdb prompt and highlight the resulting text, edit->copy, change to an external text editor and paste. Nothing shows up in the editor. Copying and pasting of text inside of ddd however does work. here is the version info for the current ddd package on my system:
ddd -v

Note the message regarding XmStrings. May or may not be related to this bug, however it shows that the package has not been compiled correctly.
This may be a feature and not a bug after all,
copy does work, although not in the usual way, from the ddd mail list:
Highlight the text with you mouse.
(*don't* click edit->copy or anything like that)
While the text is still highlighted, click on a new window with your
middle mouse button (or wheel click if a wheel mouse).
