Bug Description

The fix is in /etc/init.d/ddclient, to change

OPTIONS="-daemon $daemon_interval -syslog -pid $PIDFILE"

to

OPTIONS="-daemon $daemon_interval -syslog -pid $PIDFILE -file /etc/ddclient.conf"

Unable to reproduce. Possibly fixed in a newer version of the ddclient package.
