dbus-daemon crashes on every boot [lucid + lubuntu]

I changed my desktop environment from" lxde + ubuntu (lucid)" to "lubuntu-desktop (lucid)" yesterday.
Ever since then, at the start of every login, out of 3 reboots, I've started getting a `Sorry, the program "dbus-daemon" closed enexpectedly` message as well as a crash report notification.
