Bug Description

It takes nearly ten to thirty seconds for the terminal to show up after I press, [ctrl] + [alt] + [T], or for that matter any other keyboard shortcut like [Print-Screen].
This isn't the case with toggle keys like caps-lock or num-lock or even super-key + <number>.

** This issue isn't reflected when the guest account is used. **
