Bug Description

Under Feisty, restarting services through "/etc/init.d/dbus restart" on my Toshiba Satellite 5200 notebook causes powermanager to report that battery has been removed.

I haven't seen a this "symptom" being described, but other reported bugs may have the same cause.

I just commented on #39413. I've found a fix for my problem by changing the priority of when the hal service is launched to 99. This won't fix the problem for people who can't even detect the battery through tools such as acpi, but it should fix the problem for people whose kernel is reporting that the battery is being seen just fine.
