As you can see, no html was actually transmitted.
It seems that this dansguardian bug is a duplicate of bug #474475 (Multiple sites will not load or give a compression error message) - When I go to http:// news.bbc. co.uk in Firefox (I have dansguardian and tinyproxy packages from Ubuntu 9.10 installed and enabled with dansguardian-gui package from http:// ubuntuce. com ) then I get blank page, as described in #474475 :(
