I'm a little bit confused - the links you posted relate to the behavior if you've got no auxprop plugins available - they deal with a decent fallback behavior..
But I think this is another problem - we all have auxprop plugins available (and want to use them), but they don't seem to work anymore.. that's the problem we're trying to fix - or am I missing the point? ;-)
