Bug Description

Binary package hint: cyrus-imapd-2.2

The database conversion howto as described in /usr/share/doc/cyrus-imapd-2.2/README.Debian.database.gz doesn't work for me at all.

1. "cvt_cyrusdb" won't accept "db3" as database type as mentioned in 2.1 ("Converting from DB* to SKIPLIST")

2. When trying "berkeley" or "berkeley-nosync" instead, conversion fails with the following error:

cyrus@mail:/$ /usr/sbin/cvt_cyrusdb /var/lib/cyrus/deliver.db berkeley /var/lib/cyrus/temp.db flat
Converting from /var/lib/cyrus/deliver.db (berkeley) to /var/lib/cyrus/temp.db (flat)
fatal error: can't open old database

Ubuntu version is 10.04 on amd64, cyrus-imapd-2.2 version is 2.2.13-19.

You need to run Berkeley DB upgrade procedure and not cyrus one:
