Bug Description

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu

Description: Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS
Release: 10.04

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or by checking in Software Center

wminput:
  Installed: 0.6.00+svn201-2
  Candidate: 0.6.00+svn201-2
  Version table:
 *** 0.6.00+svn201-2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
libcwiid1:
  Installed: 0.6.00+svn201-2
  Candidate: 0.6.00+svn201-2
  Version table:
 *** 0.6.00+svn201-2 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

3) What you expected to happen

wminput should run without interfering with other devices

4) What happened instead

When wminput is running in daemon mode, wifi drops out (it can see networks but not connect). Other devices seem to be sporadically interfered with as well, including but not necessarily limited to bluetooth tethering with Android phones, and USB mouse.

It sometimes takes a bit for wifi to drop out. To test it without waiting, start wminput -d, then disconnect wifi and attempt to reconnect.

wminput runs fine in non-daemon mode, and does not interfere with anything.
