A fix is released, why not commit to Ubuntu repo?

For now as work around, just install the debian package directly in ubuntu as in , this resolves the issue.

wget http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/pool/main/c/cvsweb/cvsweb_3.0.6-8_all.deb

#dpkg -i cvsweb_3.0.6-8_all.deb
