Server install on usb device fails

Bug Description

1. Copy 18.04-live-server-amd64 iso to an "install" usb
2. Boot using "install" usb
3. Select default installation options...
4. Select, Install to a new disk
5. Select a second "os" usb (16GB), to install to (allow default partioning suggestion)
6. Press "Continue", and wait.
7. The following error is presented

(see attached screenshot)

Thanks for report.

I've seen this on drives which use msdos logical/extended partitioning.

This has been fixed in upstream curtin here:

https://git.launchpad.net/curtin/commit/?id=4bf7750b6010f0483b22ff626eab58d6a85bb072

At some point the live installer will pick up the newer curtin release with this fix included.
