Tried to downgrade Cupsys to 1.2.8 from 1.3 in ubuntu 8.04 but got this error at the end of configuration.

The problem seems to come an unexisting script file, see the end of the given dpkg log: cups/backend- available/ dnssd': No such file or directory.

On Ubuntu 8.04 I have the script dnssd.
How did you make the downgrade?
Did you try to reinstall cupsys (1.2.8)?
