Bug Description
I'm getting this error on logrotate since last update to cupsys on dapper:
/etc/cron.
error: error running shared postrotate script for /var/log/cups/*log
run-parts: /etc/cron.

I can confirm this bug.
sltam@beech:~$ sudo invoke-rc.d cupsys restart
* Restarting Common Unix Printing System: cupsd
invoke-rc.d: initscript cupsys, action "restart" failed.
sltam@beech:~$ echo $?
1
sltam@beech:~$
This is probably because start-stop daemon --stop failed to really kill cupsd,
hence start-stop-daemon --start has nothing to do, finally returning 1.
I see no reason restart does not simply call stop and then start.
