Bug Description
Binary package hint: cupsys
http://
has a PDF that needs to be filled out with Acrobat Reader.
Now here's the catch:
1) if I download the PDF and print it directly (via "lpr lvwa_vb_
2) Once I use it the intended way (open Acrobat Reader 7.x or 8.x), fill in some data, and then click on print -- it won't print.
I bumped up the loglevel in cups, just to find an odd error:
D [23/Sep/
eManufacturer=
-sIjsParams=
D [23/Sep/
s' '-sIjsServer=hpijs' '-sDeviceManufa
'-dDuplex=true' '-dTumble=false' '-r300' '-sIjsParams=
n=7' '-dIjsUseOutputFD' '-sOutputFile=
D [23/Sep/
The odd thing is that once I print to a file in acrobat and then run the renderer command above, I get:
grep the command from the log:
D [23/Sep/
run the command: # gs -q -dBATCH -dPARANOIDSAFER -dQUIET -dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=ijs -sIjsServer=hpijs -sDeviceManufac
Check exit status
# echo $?
0
WTF is going on? No errors! Somewhere between CUPS and the renderer command something must be changing the raw PS data.
A way to print the file is to SAVE the filled-out form as PDF and then use kpdf to print it.

I have got exactly the same problem here, PDF files print from Evince and the command line, but not from Acrobat Reader 8 (Version 8.1.1)
Error message is ' Error: /undefined in eartomark'
