Error when printing: "cups-ipp-wrong-http-version"

Bug Description

I just installled a printer that used to work with 10.04. When I try
using any of the three network printer options (AppSocket, LPD, IPP)
to print I get an error message that reads:
"cups-ipp-wrong-http-version"

Further piece of information: the printer works if I don't use one of the DNS options.
