I don't know if this will work for all printers but after doing some research I changed the following in the /etc/libreoffice/psprint.conf file. PSLevel from 0 to 2 and it is now working correctly for me. It sends 1 print job and prints it x times.

; PSLevel: the default setting of the PostScript level of the output
; possible values: 0: driver setting, 1: level 1, 2: level2
; if key is absent the default is 0
; PSLevel=0
PSLevel=2
